This quality vest is from a Pendleton blanket and is completely handmade and machine sewn. The documentation is present not only with the pictures of the prize winning ribbons but also of Ruth holding up another one of her wonderful Pendleton vests. The one that she is holding is slightly different in pattern and is also offered for sale on this site.
This one-of-a-kind prize winning authentic Native American Pendleton vest was designed by Ruth in 2007 and when it is sold there will never be another one like it with this type of history and documentation! This vest took 1st place, Grand Champion, and Best in Show categories for men's Western/Native American clothing at the Window Rock Navajo Nation Fair held annually in Window Rock Arizona.. Her design is from the "Home of the Free" Pendleton blanket with roaming buffalo and the stars and strips which speaks of the true Wild West! On the front are authentic United States issue Indian Head nickels that have been made into buttons. Fabulous!
